'Learn other languages, but speak Bengali at home'; Mamta Banerjee

On the occasion of International Language Day, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave a call to learn as many languages as you want, but speak only Bangla at home. Mamta Banerjee attended a function at Deshapriya Park today on the occasion of International Mother Language Day.

We cannot change the mother tongue. We also speak English in our language. How many people will understand Bangla language today? The name should be given in such a way and the talk should be done in such a way that people understand. Language means communication. Where the program is happening in Bangla and the Hindi songs are also being sung. Bangla language is the language of life.."
