On the occasion of International Language Day, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave a call to learn as many languages as you want, but speak only Bangla at home. Mamta Banerjee attended a function at Deshapriya Park today on the occasion of International Mother Language Day.

Mamta Banerjee inaugurated the Amra Bangla portal for migrant Bengalis. After this program Mamta Banerjee left for North Bengal. On this occasion, poets recited poems on Language Day On opposing the inclusion of words from other languages in the Bangla language, Mamta Banerjee said, “The more words are included in the Bangla language, the more Bengali language will prosper. The more you have to do, the language will be so rich. Learn other languages, but speak Bengali at home, said Mamta

Mamta Banerjee said, “How many words are common in the world. Mother and mother, water or water. Someone calls water water. Somebody calls mother Amma. It has to be accepted. We cannot change the mother tongue. We also speak English in our language. How many people will understand Bangla language today? The name should be given in such a way and the talk should be done in such a way that people understand. Language means communication. Where the program is happening in Bangla and the Hindi songs are also being sung. Bangla language is the language of life.."

"Learn English well but when living and talking at home, it is appropriate to speak in Bangla. Hindi language, Urdu language, Kurmi language, Nepali language, Rajvanshi, Alchiki language, Gorkha language have been approved. People of many religions and castes live in Bengal..", she added

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is coming to North Bengal once again on Tuesday before the Panchayat elections. She will address the public meeting at Siliguri's Kanchenjunga Stadium. She will land at Bagdogra airport this afternoon and will directly attend the public meeting. There she will herself provide the services of various government projects. Let us tell you that on Monday, the state assembly had passed a resolution against the partition of Bengal. BJP MLA Vishnu Prasad Sharma did not directly talk about the partition of North Bengal, but he demanded a plebiscite on this issue. However, Shubhendu Adhikari, Leader of the Opposition in the state assembly, has made it clear that the BJP does not want the division of Bengal.
